The American Kidney Fund (AKF) will host its sixth annual Kidney Action Week March 3-7, 2025.
Kidney Action Week is a week of free, virtual sessions about dialysis, kidney disease prevention, kidney-friendly eating, transplantation, and innovations in kidney disease, aimed primarily at patients, family members, and others with an interest in kidney health. It is held every March to align with National Kidney Month.
This year’s topics will include:
- Learning more about the kidneys and building a plan to help manage kidney health
- Navigating a rare kidney disease diagnosis
- Genetic testing and whether it is the right choice
- Best practices for prevention and management of infections while receiving dialysis
- Kidney donation and post-transplant care
Anyone interested in learning more can sign up for updates.
