The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now recognizes Lyme disease as a chronic condition, making the connection even more serious. In this interview, DocWire News spoke with Timothy Haystead, PhD, of Duke University School of Medicine, who discussed the link between Lyme disease and cardiovascular problems and a recent study that explored the connection.
