First Lady Melania Trump was hospitalized on May 14 for an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition, according to a statement from the White House. The statement called the procedure “successful” and noted that there were no complications. The procedure took place at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and Mrs. Trump is expected to remain at the facility through the end of the week.
